Julia Peintner

Italian-born Julia Peintner is an artist at the outset of her career having graduated from Central St. Martins College, London in 2015. Having originally studied graphics, Peintner’s hand-printed wood and linocuts are characterised by strong, fluid silhouettes and a sense of the mystical. Her dream-like scenes featuring figures in flight and cosmic symbols are inspired by a range of influences including organic forms from the natural world, the signs of the zodiac and Tarot cards.

Peintner has completed a number of international residencies in Japan, Switzerland and America; she lives and works in South East London.
